Con uno scatto nel finale il britannico del Team Sky riesce a conquistare l’undicesima tappa davanti alla maglia rossa Nairo Quintana (Movistar) e il compagno di squadra del colombiano Alejandro Valverde. Molto bene anche il nostro Michele Scarponi settimo. L’italiano dell’Astana sale all’ottavo posto della classifica generale.
